Reporting to the plant HR Manager, the LeadHR Generalist will be responsible for the planning, developing andadministration of a variety of HR management programs for the site includingemployment, wage and salary administration, employee communications, employeetraining and staff development, benefits and other related human resourcesactivities.
Additional responsibilities includecoordinating and monitoring activities to ensure compliance of programs withall applicable state and federal laws, regulations and guidelines as well asconforming with Eaton corporate human resources management policies andprocedures.
The essential functions of the role include:
Partneringwith operations and the talent acquisition center, leads the development andexecution of the labor planning strategy for hourly positions, includingstaffing of open positions and contingent workforce management.
Establisheffective communications to keep employees informed of policies, procedures,and events. Leads the design, implementation, and maintenance of thesite communications plan.
Provideadvanced coaching, consulting and facilitation skills to influence behavior andbusiness decisions consistent with Eaton Values & Philosophy.
Fostera culture where ownership of health and safety is embraced by all employees.Utilize MESH to ensure compliance with state/federal safety requirements anddrive zero incidents safety culture.
Assistin planning, developing and administering Training and Development programsusing performance management tools, the employee survey andcertification/standard.
Asneeded may coordinate, lead and guide the employee engagement team's developmentand execution of an annual plan for employee activities and community events.
Maintainand administer the site's promotional procedures, payroll and time &attendance processes.
Providescounsel and support to resolve interpersonal conflicts and employee relationsissues.
Championemployee survey improvement activities through analysis of survey data andidentification of key improvement opportunities, providing direct support tosurvey improvement teams as appropriate.
Strategicallydeliver HR services, programs and initiatives aligned with the businessstrategy and Eaton Values & Philosophy.
Basic
Qualifications:
Bachelor'sdegree from an accredited university required
Minimum2 years of human resources generalist experience with at least one year in amanufacturing environment
Mustbe legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
