Job Description: Looking for a Mechanical Designer to perform all aspects of engineering (structural and mechanical), in the design and manufacture of cranes.
Qualifications: 1. 5-7 years of mechanical design experience 2. Gearbox and gearing design experience 3. Overhead crane or hoist experience 4. AutoCAD experience Knowledge of welding and it's applications Experienced in meeting project deadlines and budgets-this is a fast paced environment where they are finishing 4-5 cranes a month. Strong trouble shooting skills.
Job Description: They will give direction CAD operators regarding layout and design of assigned tasks. Will will be responsible for layout and design and participate in design reviews. They will also act as a technical liaison for the customer, sales, production operations in-house and field service technicians. This role is both drafting and design Work Environment: Their are 92 total employees and in the engineering department a total of 7-3 engineers and 4 CAD operators. The department for engineering is right in the middle of the production floor overseeing the floor-kind of looks like an enclosed watch tower-no windows that I could see though. Performance Expectations: Their performance is going to be measured by the workload they are able to complete. This individual will be completing about 4-5 drawings a week-very fast paced for industrial product company. They have tight schedules and need to meet those deadlines. Additional InfoEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
