In this role, you'll use effective decision making to achieve our goal of resolving our customers' issues in one call. Your strong
communication
skills give you the ability to listen and create deep connections with our customers.
Retrieving and documenting customer information while listening intently to your customers demonstrates your ability to effectively manage multiple tasks. This critical skill empowers you to make solid recommendations on the right products and
services
that truly meet our customers' needs. On a daily basis, you'll be building more than a loyal base of customers. You'll be turning those loyal customers into U.S. Cellular advocates!
Here, you'll want to have the core academic fundamentals like a high school diploma. We'll want to know that you've already shined brightly in customer care, for instance, a career in telecom, hospitality, insurance or banking. Although it's not required, having worked in a sales or collections environment could also enhance your ability to serve our customers.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or state equivalency certification required; college degree preferred.
Minimum of two years customer service experience in a high volume telephone contact environment of issue resolution or inquiries preferred.
Wireless or other technological product experience preferred.
Experience with Windows-based PCs, including general office software knowledge required.
Ability to remain flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment required.
Effective organizational and interpersonal skills required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
Must be able to work 20 hours per week, either 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. or 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. five days/nights a week including BOTH Saturday and Sunday on a weekly basis (and until 11 p.m. if required).

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
