Job DetailsJob Details:
We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to join our dynamic Engineering team.
This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth functioning of our machinery and electrical systems.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems and a keen eye for identifying and resolving issues swiftly.
This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a challenging and rewarding work environment, opportunities for professional growth, and the chance to work with a team of dedicated professionals.
Responsibilities:
Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
Read technical diagrams and blueprints.
Perform general electrical maintenance.
Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.
Follow National Electrical Code state and local building regulations.
Circuits breaker corrective maintenance.
Good knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems.
Good knowledge of various test equipment.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Commercial Electrician, Maintenance Electrician, or similar role.
Demonstrated proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and machine maintenance tech.
Solid knowledge of commercial electrical systems.
Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings.
Ability to work independently and complete tasks to a high standard.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Mechanical Maintenance experience is a strong advantage.
Must be able to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces.
Valid license to practice the profession.
Must be willing to work flexible hours, as required.
