As we continue to expand, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Financial Analyst to join our team in Pewaukee, WI! The Senior Financial Analyst will review, prepare, and maintain financial reporting.
In addition to financial reporting the Senior Financial Analyst develops, interprets, and implements financial and accounting concepts to assist in financial planning and control.
This role will provide analytical, forecasting, reporting, and project support to senior management.
Typical Duties/Essential Job Functions:
Prepare monthly financial statements and participate in the completion of monthly management reporting package.
Participate in the development of company and departmental budgets.
Perform ongoing financial analysis of variances to the budget and previous year's results and develop relevant financial models to support future decision making.
Perform general cost accounting including calculation of labor and burden rates and completion of annual standard cost update.
Reconcile bank accounts and manage the company's expense reporting process.
Maintain the General Ledger, including posting journal entries and completion of month end closing activities.
Analyze historical and current financial data and develop financial models to support management's financial decision making.
Work with Finance Manager to gather, analyze, summarize, and prepare recommendations regarding financial plans, business planning, and operating forecasts.
Develop monthly reports, which include key metrics, financial results, and variance reporting.
Provide outside auditors with assistance required to complete annual audit and corporate tax returns.
Establish tools for use in analyzing, future planning, and forecasting.
Identify areas for continuous improvements activities.
Protect CFR's value by keeping information confidential.
Perform cross-functional ad hoc duties and projects as requested.
Education and Experience
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
At least 4 years of experience, public accounting experience preferred.
Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and ability to adhere to said principles.
Prior financial analysis experience preferred.
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite with advanced proficiency in Excel.
ERP software experience is desired; Epicor preferred.
Skills and Competencies:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent analytical and organizational skills, with close attention to detail.
Ability to manage confidential information.
Recommended Skills Attention To Detail Auditing Business Planning Communication Confidentiality Coordinating Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
