Developing and implementing materials planning and management best practices across global sites.
Must have global experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:
Develops best in class inventory management practices.
This person will be leading materials planning and inventory management globally.
Providing leadership for supply chain managers across the globe.
Streamlining and standardizing materials planning processes in a ERP operating environment.
Must focus on business processes from receiving, warehousing, purchase orders/releases, freight management to improve operational excellence and reduce cost structure.
Provide leadership, and subject matter expertise to teams across the global sites as it relates to SIOP, materials planning and inventory management.
Develop and implement SIOP process across plans.
Train the materials planning team.
Develops and leads materials council to drive standardization and capability development.
Ensuring planning and ordering parameters are maintained in the ERP system.
Conducts audits to ensure compliance.
Initiates continuous improvement programs focused on inventory reduction and freight optimization with cost reduction.
Develops reports to optimize and manage inventory, Measures weekly and monthly KPIs.
Reviews past dues and ECN processes.
Works with the finance team to optimize working capital by setting inventory reduction plans across all global sites.
Leads teams to improve demand forecasting to ensure timely fulfillment to customers.

Required Skills:
Degree is required with an emphasis on Engineering/Business 13-17 years of experience in materials planning and inventory management in manufacturing Hands-On and demonstrated experiences in building SIOP and materials planning best practices.
Leader with experiences in developing materials and inventory teams.
Ensures supplier performance that meets on-time and quality cost targets.
Track record of developing global teams.
Cross-cultural experiences.
Experience working in an international cross cultural global supply chain environment.
Analytics capabilities- hands on experience in developing systems generating reporting capabilities to manage materials planning and inventory management performance.
Proven on time quality supplier performance that meets or exceeds cost targets.
Must have hands-on experience with ERP systems in a manufacturing environment.
Solid understanding on industry related development programs like APICS or CPIM.
